This site serves (amongst other things) as the personal blog of Stephen J. Carnam. I’m a California based software developer and self proclaimed “Extensioneer”; I like to mashup ideas and create new things. The initial content of this site is to primarily help me, the author; ever since the shutdown of iGoogle I’ve been seeking a replacement. That’s why you’ll see dozens of links under the “News” menu. It’s my live, always updating, list of interests that I read and watch. But hopefully this site will become more about what I write too. Information on that can be found in my first post here.
My past development experience is in graphic imaging, game, and web development. I occasionally speak at WordCamps and Meetups on technology and creativity. Currently I work at my own software consulting and design firm, Virtuosoft, and am the founder of ServerPress. I’m an avid technology hobbyist with a hand in electronics, vintage computing, and most everything 3D. My 3D interests carry over to virtual reality, 3D photo-realistic graphic rendering, 3D printing, art, and real world photography. The maker movement is my happy place.
On this site you’ll find my regular readings and writings; you might even find one of my creations for sale too. Through this portal I hope to make a better landing page for exploring my ideas while contributing to other’s enjoyment and interests. I can be found on twitter too @Steveorevo.
